A mostly accoustic CD from Brooks deForest featuring live and session recorded instrumentals with an electronica spiked with guitars flavor. The second of deForest's albums brings a more fluid feeling though the music and follows his trend away from pure computer sounds to more acoustic instrumentation. An hour long road trip from electronica anthems through country, on to jazz and dance. Live In Your Living was recorded from the fall of 2005 to early January 2006. He continues to blend and cross genres, but the live and session recordings bring out more of a folk vibe. |
